Position Summary:
Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand and Customer Experience (Cx) for BMS medicines within a defined territory, engaging HCPs through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by explaining clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise for assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Build and implement territory/account plans; use tools such as SOPHIA for insights and dynamic call planning.
- Conduct scientifically accurate, label-consistent dialogue; deliver in-office presentations.
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved) and manage scheduling/logistics.
- Maintain expertise on emerging approved-indication data.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams and share internal insights with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with key customers and influence network.
- Strong account management and selling skills with proven performance.
- Ability to work cross-functionally; strong promotional/selling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cardiovascular experience.

- Field (US): $134,390–$162,843; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
