Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Cardiovascular Specialty, field-based role in Phoenix North, AZ. Drives demand for BMS medicines, engages Health Care Providers with a differentiated scientific dialogue, and collaborates across functions to deliver an excellent Customer Experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools like SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs, coordinating scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging data for approved indications; facilitates real-time medical support as needed.
  • Collaborates with other field teams to ensure optimal Customer Experience for HCPs; shares insights internally.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of BMS.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric approach to delivering differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular areas preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Strong promotion and selling skills with a proven performance history.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent; relevant certifications as applicable.
