Role Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Cardiovascular Specialty, field-based role in Phoenix North, AZ. Drives demand for BMS medicines, engages Health Care Providers with a differentiated scientific dialogue, and collaborates across functions to deliver an excellent Customer Experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products.
Responsibilities
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
- Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements territory and account plans.
- Uses tools like SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
- Conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs, coordinating scheduling and logistics.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging data for approved indications; facilitates real-time medical support as needed.
- Collaborates with other field teams to ensure optimal Customer Experience for HCPs; shares insights internally.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of BMS.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
- Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric approach to delivering differentiated Customer Experience.
- Experience in cardiovascular areas preferred.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.
- Strong promotion and selling skills with a proven performance history.

Education
- Advanced scientific degree or equivalent; relevant certifications as applicable.
