Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Cardiovascular Specialty in the Phoenix North, AZ area. Drives demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio, engaging Health Care Providers with a differentiated scientific dialogue and delivering a high-quality Customer Experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate product use and meeting business results.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Utilizes tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging data for approved indications; engages real-time medical support when needed.
  • Collaborates with other field teams to ensure optimal Customer Experience and shares insights with stakeholders.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing BMS conduct.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to aid physicians in patient care.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to deliver differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular field preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a history of performance.

Education
