Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in an assigned territory by engaging HCPs with differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaise with internal BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Field-based; spend much time with external customers. Prioritize safe/appropriate use of BMS products and business performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use SOPHIA for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver scientifically accurate, label-consistent dialogue; conduct in-office presentations; organize speaker programs.
- Track emerging data; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management and selling competencies with track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive/can-do attitude; strong promotional skills.
