Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community, Westchester, NY. The TAS is a critical field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio through scientific dialogue with Healthcare Providers, building credibility with regional thought leaders, and delivering a differentiated customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Engages in scientific dialogue with HCPs and conducts in-office presentations consistent with label; organizes external speaker programs and manages scheduling/logistics.
  • Maintains working expertise on emerging data for approved indications and coordinates with Medical on Call for real-time support.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure optimal Customer Experience for HCPs and shares insights internally.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP roles, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to support patient care.
  • Proven track record of building credibility with key customers and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular fields preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and history of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Strong promotional skills and track record of performance.
