Position Summary:
Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) for Cardiovascular (St. Louis N, MO). Drive demand for BMS medicines through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx), scientific dialogue, and CE^3; build credibility with regional thought leaders and community HCPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed compliant sales targets; create demand with clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow product and therapeutic area expertise; plan territories/accounts; use tools (e.g., SOPHIA) for insights and call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share insights internally.
- Comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Accurate, persuasive communication of scientific/clinical data.
- Credibility-building with key customers/office staff via customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management/selling competencies with proven record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration; strong selling/promotional skills.
