Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Palm Bay, FL. Field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines, engaging health care providers, and delivering a differentiated customer experience aligned with label and scientific data.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and enhances scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs with scheduling and logistics.
  • Maintains working knowledge of emerging data for approved indications and supports real-time medical questions.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other field teams to optimize Customer Experience for HCPs and shares insights with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
  • Experience building credibility with key customers and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular field preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative attitude.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent required; additional qualifications in cardiovascular fields advantageous.

  • Operation of a company-provided vehicle; eligible driver requirements include minimum age, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving risk level as determined by the Company.
