Position Summary
The TAS is a field-based role responsible for driving demand for BMS medicines in their portfolio for appropriate patients. Engages HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx), deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, and leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly; create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans; use SOPHIA insights to inform call plans; provide tool experience feedback to leadership.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations consistent with label; organize external speaker programs; maintain expertise on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for unsolicited/complex technical questions.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams to ensure best HCP Customer Experience; gather/share insights internally.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with key customers and customer influence network.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management, selling competencies, and proven sales performance.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
- Strong selling/promotional skills.
