Role Summary
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Lafayette, IN. Field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio, engaging health care providers with a differentiated scientific dialogue, and delivering a superior customer experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate product use.
Responsibilities
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
- Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Uses tools like CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conducts fair, balanced scientific dialogue with HCPs, including in-office presentations and organizing external speaker programs.
- Engages real-time medical support to address unsolicited questions and complex inquiries.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance customer experience and shares insights with stakeholders.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of BMS.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to aid patient care.
- Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated customer experience.
- Experience in cardiovascular areas preferred.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.
- Strong selling and promotional skills.
