Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community, CV Brooklyn, NY. Field-based role focused on promoting BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio, engaging Health Care Providers with scientific dialogue, and driving demand for appropriate patients. 100% time in the field with external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner; create demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory and account plans; use CE^3 tools to derive insights and inform call plans.
  • Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present information with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay updated on emerging data; engage real-time medical support as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams to enhance Customer Experience; share insights internally to improve service to customers.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP roles; cardiovascular experience required.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians; strong credibility with key customers and staff; demonstrated account management and sales performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills and a positive team mindset; strong promotional skills.
