Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Camden, NJ. The TAS is a field-based, client-facing role that drives demand for BMS medicines within a defined portfolio and territory, engaging Health Care Providers with a scientifically grounded, patient-focused dialogue to support appropriate patient use of BMS products.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas; develops comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Proactively uses tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise in presenting information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy; conducts in-office presentations aligned with label; organizes external speaker programs.
  • Maintains working knowledge of emerging data; coordinates with Medical on Call to address questions and complex inquiries.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with field teams to enhance the Customer Experience for HCPs; shares insights with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
  • Experience building credibility with key customers and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular field preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative mindset.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent; relevant certifications as applicable.
