Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Boston N, MA. The TAS drives demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients, engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience through deeper scientific dialogue, and maintaining credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs. The role is field-based, with 100% time in the field with external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Engages with and maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Proactively uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience as healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to support patient care.
  • Experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers and office staff; strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience in cardiovascular preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
