Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact; coordinate with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Field-based role with substantial time with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets; create demand by explaining clinical/scientific rationale; maintain product/TA expertise; prepare territory/account plans; use SOPHIA to inform call plans and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources to present accurate, label-consistent information; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; respond to unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility with customers and desire to deliver differentiated Cx.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross-functional teamwork and strong selling/promotional skills.
