Position Summary
- Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving adoption of BMS medicines by delivering differentiated scientific dialogue and Customer Experience (Cx) with Health Care Providers (HCPs).
- Spend 100% of time in the field with external customers; act as primary point of contact for regional thought leaders and community HCPs.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build/maintain scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific resources accurately and consistently with label.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; answer unsolicited questions via Medical on Call.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience required.
- Account management and selling competencies; proven sales performance.
- Cross-functional work effectiveness.
