Senior Technical Product Manager (AI Research & Development)

Remote within the United States. Hybrid work available in Vancouver, WA; New York City, NY.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and synthesize product requirements from AI, Engineering, Wet Lab Scientists, and Business Development; align with leadership on actionable product strategy
- Own product roadmaps; make trade-off decisions between priorities and risk
- Partner with managers and technical leads to establish a cohesive product vision
- Build roadmaps/backlogs/execution plans; define OKRs and KPIs; track performance and adjust strategy
- Lead cross-functional teams from conception through deployment and optimization; identify and remove blockers
- Conduct research with product team and potential users to understand needs and opportunities
- Drive adoption and successful deployment of products within internal programs and external partnerships

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years experience delivering production-grade software or technical products
- 3+ years working/educational experience in AI/ML and/or Protein Engineering
- Strong technical knowledge to collaborate with engineers and scientists
- Proven track record creating/executing product roadmaps
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Excellent written/oral communication
- Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple competing priorities
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment with autonomy and bias for action

Preferred:
- Master’s or PhD
- Biotech/Pharma industry experience
- Generative AI (GenAI), NLP/computer vision, LLMs, or protein language models
- MLOps tools (e.g., Weights & Biases)
- Deep knowledge across bioinformatics/protein design/genomics/immunology/structural biology/antibody engineering
- NGS, SPR, or Flow Cytometry data experience
- Agile coach/product owner/Scrum Master experience

Compensation/Benefits: $145,000–$180,000/year; competitive equity; medical/dental/vision; employee stock purchase plan.
