Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned to short- and long-term commercial talent needs.
- Drive the hiring process as primary point of contact for assigned functions.
- Consult managers on talent assessment and selection; lead the end-to-end candidate lifecycle for critical roles.
- Align talent attraction, compensation & benefits, mobility, culture & inclusion, and HRBP partners to achieve hiring goals.
- Identify optimal sourcing channels; advise on talent acquisition best practices incorporating culture and inclusion.
- Increase talent attraction by driving Biogen brand awareness using corporate brand/EVP collateral (e.g., job postings, social media).
- Build and sustain a data-driven, innovative talent acquisition culture.
- Collect and analyze recruiting data; present insights to business leaders to influence outcomes.
- Own service delivery, including partnership with outsourced solution providers.
- Participate/co-lead special projects (e.g., hiring builds for home office and field sales, continuous improvement, change management).
- Support Culture and Inclusion initiatives, including Employee Resource Group programming.
Qualifications / Preferred:
- Bachelorβs degree preferred; undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/education.
- 6+ years strategic talent acquisition experience (agency and/or in-house required).
- Strong preference: life sciences experience in a commercial function and experience supporting both home office and field sales expansions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing/executing innovative sourcing strategies (e.g., direct sourcing/cold calling passive candidates, market intelligence gathering, target company/org mapping, org-charting, pipeline building).
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; ability to influence and build support.
- Solid candidate assessment skills and expertise in behavioral interviewing.
