Essential Job Functions
- Own and advance the identity platform, including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, and hybrid identity solutions.
- Design, implement, and manage modern endpoint management using Intune and Autopilot (application deployment, configuration, automation, patching).
- Configure and maintain enterprise applications using Entra ID, SAML SSO, and SCIM provisioning.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Windows servers (security patching and performance tuning).
- Implement and continuously improve security best practices; conduct regular audits and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead or contribute to complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
- Identify operational issues, propose solutions, and improve reliability and user experience.
- Manage and resolve advanced incidents/requests, owning high-complexity tickets and escalating when needed.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, standards, procedures, risk assessments, and validation.
- Research and recommend innovative, automated approaches to system administration and infrastructure management.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience (certifications a plus).
- Deep identity and access management knowledge (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, SSO).
- Proven Intune endpoint management and Autopilot provisioning experience.
- PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, KQL, or similar scripting; Copilot/PowerPlatform or other AI tools experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and risk/compliance alignment skills.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid Chicago office; at least 3 days/week on site. Possible evenings/weekends and occasional overnight travel.
