Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain corporate infrastructure, including Office 365, Azure, AWS, and essential on-premises systems.
- Administer and support Windows Servers, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune.
- Ensure operational status and security of IT environments, including VMware and other virtualization platforms (cloud/on-prem).
- Oversee daily operations: cloud/local backups, antivirus management, performance tuning, security updates, and patch/configuration management (focus on Veeam backups).
- Implement and enforce cloud/on-prem security policies (data access controls, IAM, MFA).
- Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune in line with corporate policies and security standards.
- Develop device management strategies for hybrid IT (MDM, MAM, endpoint protection).
- Coordinate software/hardware upgrades while maintaining compliance with corporate and security standards.
- Monitor and optimize cost and performance across cloud and on-prem; recommend efficiency improvements.
- Troubleshoot SaaS apps, cloud infrastructure, Intune, Veeam, and on-prem systems to ensure high availability/performance.
- Develop, update, and maintain system and procedural documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems/devices with business needs.
- Lead and participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.
- Mentor junior administrators.
Qualifications / Required skills:
- 6+ years Systems Administrator experience managing cloud/SaaS and on-prem infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; significant on-prem experience.
- Proficiency managing and securing Office 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and on-prem equivalents.
- Network troubleshooting; basic Palo Alto Firewall administration.
- Hands-on Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft Intune.
- Proven Intune device management (MDM, MAM, endpoint protection).
- Virtualization knowledge (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience implementing/managing Veeam backup solutions in hybrid environments.
- Security best practices (IAM, MFA, data protection).
- Experience with cloud cost management and on-prem efficiency.
Preferred (desirable) certifications/experience:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate; Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Security+; VMware Certified Professional (VCP); AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate
