Position Summary
Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an experienced laboratory animal veterinarian (Senior Staff Veterinarian) for the Veterinary Sciences team at the Lawrenceville, NJ (LVL) site with cross-coverage at New Brunswick, NJ (NBR), including support for GLP studies.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality veterinary clinical care, accurate records, and manage disease outbreaks for laboratory animals, including surgery/anesthesia support.
- Serve as clinical veterinarian at LVL; provide cross-coverage at NBR and ensure veterinary oversight/compliance with applicable GLP regulations.
- Assist with experimental protocol design and animal model development.
- Direct/evaluate animal health surveillance; interpret microbiological/serological/parasitological data to prevent/diagnose/treat disease.
- Develop and lead independent research projects or collaborate with other research groups.
- Implement/deliver training programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support IACUC via rotational veterinary pre-review, post-approval monitoring (PAM), and assessment of research personnel competencies; may serve as Attending Veterinarian/alternate.
- Lead/participate in cross-site committees and internal projects; supervise VS staff as assigned.
- Provide care/oversight for rodents, canines, rabbits, swine, and nonhuman primates.

Qualifications & Experience (Required/Preferred)
- DVM (or equivalent) + current US veterinary license.
- 5+ years laboratory animal experience.
- ACLAM board-eligibility (required); ACLAM certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of lab animal regulatory requirements (FDA/USDA/IACUC/AAALAC).
- GLP study support/compliance experience (preferred).
- Proven data interpretation from health monitoring programs; project leadership; effective team science.
- Interest/experience with surgical models/anesthesia (preferred); experience with large animals including NHP and swine (preferred).
