- Define and govern end-to-end enterprise data architecture for preclinical science and operations, including domain-driven data models and harmonized golden-record/lineage.
- Design and deliver data platform solutions (streaming and batch) toward a central data platform (e.g., research data lake/connected data marts), partnering with IT and data engineering.
- Publish governed semantic layers and reusable data marts; define KPI/metric definitions; enable self-service visualization in Spotfire/Tableau.
- Stand up data management and governance standards (data catalog/metadata, reference/master data strategies, quality controls, lifecycle policies) with business data stewards.
- Architect and deliver LIMS/ELN solutions by modeling experiment workflows, capturing structured context at source, and enabling compliant lab platforms (e.g., Benchling/LabWare).
- Serve as product/program lead for roadmap and continuous delivery using SAFe.
- Co-create roadmaps, conduct design reviews, mentor engineers and citizen developers.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of LIMS/ELN systems (e.g., Benchling, LabWare).
- 8+ years in data architecture/engineering in scientific or manufacturing context; proven delivery in hybrid cloud/on-prem data lakes/warehouses.
- Expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Databricks (or comparable cloud platforms).
- Expertise in NoSQL, in-memory, Graph, and relational databases.
- Expertise in data lake architectures (curation/serving layers), metadata/catalog tools, and ELT/ETL transformation frameworks.
- Delivered governed, reusable datasets for visualization tools (Spotfire/Tableau/Power BI).
- Working knowledge of Scaled Agile (SAFe) (backlog refinement, PI planning, release management).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in preclinical/bioprocess domains (samples, assays, batches, equipment, methods).
- Experience with lab systems for bioprocessing.
- Experience aligning data standards across R&D, QA, and Manufacturing (data integrity, traceability).

Benefits (explicitly stated):
