Senior Specialty Representative (Territory: West of I-45 from College Station to Victoria)
Responsibilities / What You Will Do:
- Serve as the liaison to customers; provide clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals.
- Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge and communicate clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
- Achieve territory sales by implementing branded sales message strategies; deliver messages, implement planned programs, schedule/follow up on medical educational programs, and achieve/exceed sales targets.
- Service and manage accounts by ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Analyze sales effectiveness and conduct territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Sustain product passion throughout the sales cycle and continuously build the brand while serving patients.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn.
- Leverage disease-state awareness and industry/regulatory/competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree and 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field (non-sales related), OR
- Associate degree and 6 years of sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales related), OR
- High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales related).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales OR hospital sales in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Ability to adapt to core competencies: planning/organizing; leveraging business/industry/technical knowledge; communicating with impact; driving for results; cultivating internal/external relationships.
