What You Will Do
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help them navigate the complex payer environment.
- Act as primary customer contact, implement marketing strategy, and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and meeting or exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Service and manage accounts by tailoring interactions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously develop.

What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree with 3 years of sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field, OR
- Associate degree with 6 years, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in sales/marketing/clinical in pharma/biotech/diagnostics/healthcare insurance/pharmacy services/medical devices or supplies.
- Product or hospital sales in specified specialty areas (e.g., oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, etc.).
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building; local market knowledge.
- Bachelorโs in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
