Senior Specialty Representative (Live)
Responsibilities:
- Provide current, comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Lead branded territory sales by delivering sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Manage accounts by customizing discussions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness/territory analysis and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continue learning.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field
OR Associate degree + 6 years
OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales, marketing and/or clinical experience in pharma/biotech/diagnostics/healthcare insurance/pharmacy services/medical devices or supplies
- Product or hospital sales in specified therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, cardiology, inflammation, etc.)
- Advanced influencing/relationship-building; local market knowledge; Life Sciences/Business Admin bachelor’s; adaptability to core competencies.
