Role Summary

Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health in Peoria, IL. Territory includes Peoria, Galesburg, Moline, Kewanee, Washington. Relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
  • Lead to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, coordinating medical educational programs, and meeting or exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
  • Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customize discussions based on customer needs, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
  • Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
  • Demonstrate passion for products and sustain it throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales-related; or Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience; or High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical experience.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of sales, marketing, and/or clinical experience in relevant industries; product or hospital sales experience in areas including bone health; strong influencing and relationship-building skills; local market knowledge; Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration; adaptability with core sales competencies.
