Role Summary
Senior Specialty Representative โ Bone Health. Territory includes Longview, Tyler, Texarkana, Lufkin, TX. Relocation not offered. Responsible for delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals, promoting products, and implementing marketing strategy under the District Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
- Lead sales efforts to achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, planned programs, and medical educational activities, via in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customize discussions, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative
- Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle while upholding the brand and serving patients

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related
- OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related
- Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 3 years of sales, marketing, and/or clinical experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare-related industries
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes
- Local market knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
- Adaptability with core sales competencies: planning, knowledge utilization, communication, results orientation, and relationship cultivation

Education
