What You Will Do
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintain current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including customizing discussions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness/territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continue learning and growth.
- Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and serving patients.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree + 3 years sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field (not sales-related)
OR Associate degree + 6 years
OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales/marketing/clinical experience in pharma/biotech/diagnostics/healthcare insurance/pharmacy services/medical devices or medical supplies
- Product or hospital sales experience in relevant therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, inflammation, cardiology, etc.) and disease/treatment knowledge
- Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes
- Local market knowledge; Bachelorโ€™s in Life Sciences or Business Administration
