What You Will Do
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Serve as the primary customer contact and implement marketing strategy to promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up on medical educational programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Manage accounts by customizing interactions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze business effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn/grow.
- Demonstrate sustained passion for products throughout the sales cycle while serving patients.
- Uphold Amgen Values (science-based, ethical, quality, teamwork, collaboration/communication, accountability).

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field.
- OR Associate degree and 6+ years.
- OR High school diploma/GED and 8+ years.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in sales/marketing/clinical experience in relevant healthcare/pharma/biotech/diagnostics/insurance/pharmacy services/medical device or supply.
- Product/hospital sales in specified therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, inflammation, nephrology, etc.).
- Advanced influencing/relationship-building skills; local market knowledge; Life Sciences or Business Administration degree.
