Purpose:
The Senior Specialist, Procurement Management executes source-to-contract procurement processes aligned to business goals and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and supporting supplier diversity and sustainability. Leads contract requisition and supplier onboarding specialists; drives day-to-day processing excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with source-to-contract procurement aligned to category strategic vision.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy and support supplier diversity and sustainability.
- Execute supplier management aligned to category SRM strategy, including negotiations and workshops.
- Review and resolve complex process and system issues related to contracting and procurement systems.
- Maintain excellence in source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay activities; identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Execute continuous improvement projects from the R&D Procurement Contract Operations team.
- Oversee specialists’ procurement execution; provide feedback and build category expertise.
- Enable team goals to meet performance targets and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, supply chain, or related operations.
- Experience with source-to-contract, requisition-to-pay, and negotiation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform).
- Preferred: pharmaceutical industry knowledge.
- Innovative problem-solving, clear communication, executive functioning, and autonomous work ethic.
