Sr. Specialist, Marketing Procurement supports strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract management, and stakeholder engagement across Marketing Services categories (Advertising, Media—Traditional and Digital, Market Research, Public Relations, Branding, Creative and Design, Communications, Print, Events) within the Animal Health division.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of sourcing strategies; conduct supplier/industry/market analysis for value creation, innovation, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
- Lead/support competitive sourcing events (RFI, RFP) and supplier evaluations; analyze spending trends and market intelligence.
- Build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships; monitor KPIs and support supplier business reviews.
- Support development, review, negotiation, execution, and management of supplier agreements and SOWs; partner with Legal to ensure alignment to policies; monitor compliance and renewals.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Communications, Finance, Legal, and other teams to understand objectives and procurement needs.
- Identify and support mitigation of supplier/contractual/operational/commercial risks; support due diligence and risk assessments; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify improvements to sourcing and supplier performance; contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Education & Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or related).
- Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree.
- Required: 5+ years in procurement/sourcing/supplier management/marketing services or related; experience with sourcing events, negotiations, and contract management.
- Knowledge of Marketing Services categories; analytical/problem-solving skills; matrix experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel—Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams); strong communication.
Preferred
- Animal Health/Pharma/Consumer Products experience; understanding of category management and strategic sourcing; regional/global procurement; supplier performance/analytics tools.
