Senior Specialist, Commercial Logistics

Role: Senior Specialist, Commercial Logistics, overseeing key logistics operations for Vericel’s Burn and Cartilage Care franchises, including final product delivery, surgical instrument programs, and vendor management. Responsibilities: ensure reliable, cost-effective product and instrument logistics; establish performance metrics; coordinate MACI and Epicel deliveries; manage inventory, consignment programs, and surgical trays; support US/UK instrument commercialization; optimize processes; monitor vendor performance and spend; collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and external vendors. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, healthcare administration, or related field; 5+ years in supply chain or commercial operations, preferably within biotech, pharma, or medical devices; experience managing logistics software, vendor relationships, and multiple projects in fast-paced environments; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: experience supporting field sales, developing operational processes, and working with inventory management systems. High-Value: focus on biotech/medical device logistics, clinical or commercial product support, and cross-functional collaboration.
