Repair Technician 1

Role: Repair Technician 1 responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medical imaging equipment and GE Healthcare products to ensure optimal performance and patient safety. Responsibilities: disassemble systems, clean components, replace damaged parts, reassemble, install options/accessories, perform diagnostics and functional tests, evaluate damaged components, process work orders, ensure compliance with QMS and regulations, record test results and update device history, maintain inventory, and collaborate to improve process quality and efficiency. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, 1-3 years equipment repair experience, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, ability to interpret technical manuals, proficiency with hand tools and test equipment, strong problem-solving skills, good communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred: associate’s degree in electronics, biomedical tech, or related field.
