Purpose:
- Execute source-to-contract procurement processes aligned with business goals and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and contributing to supplier diversity and sustainability. Support supplier management activities, implement continuous improvement projects, and drive day-to-day supplier excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Procurement Manager, Category Manager, and Associate Directors to execute Indirect Capital subcategory-specific procurement strategies.
- Implement and monitor category strategies to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Report on supplier process and operational health to enable strategic decision-making.
- Monitor initiatives to drive value with category suppliers (track cost savings and enhance procurement value).
- Enable sustainability and ESG measures through responsible sourcing practices with suppliers.
- Execute Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategies and manage supplier relationships.
- Implement mitigation strategies to manage procurement risk while maintaining process/policy compliance.
- Manage strategic category projects end-to-end with cross-functional teams; support process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Support end-to-end procurement from sourcing strategy to contract negotiation and execution.
- Develop category expertise and support team performance targets and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Preferred: experience with capital expenditure (capex) projects/processes and RFP development/evaluation for capital projects.
- Minimum 5 years in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations.
- Experience in category management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Power Platform).
- Fast learner across industries; strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Executive functioning skills and autonomous work ethic.
