Senior Software Engineer-MR Imaging Software

Role: Senior Software Engineer focused on developing and supporting software for GE HealthCare MRI scanners, contributing to medical imaging technology that improves patient outcomes. Responsibilities include designing, testing, and maintaining software components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing solutions in a regulated, Linux-based environment. Candidates will work within Agile practices, develop distributed and microservices-based applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, 8+ years of experience in Unix/Linux environments, software design for hardware interfaces, experience with version control, CI/CD tools, and SDLC knowledge. Preferred qualifications involve a Master's degree, background in regulated industries such as medical devices, and experience with modern architectures, scripting, and automated testing frameworks.
