Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, governing, and operating scalable, secure AWS environments to support enterprise workloads within a biopharma context. Responsibilities: own AWS architecture including multi-account strategies, security, compliance, identity access management, and platform automation; establish operational standards, monitor systems, automate via Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi/SST preferred), and participate in incident response. Qualifications: senior-level software engineering experience with extensive hands-on AWS system operation; expertise in full-stack development using TypeScript and Python; deep knowledge of core AWS services such as IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and security tools; proven ability to implement AWS governance at scale, including multi-account management, security, and compliance. Preferred: experience with enterprise identity federation (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD), regulated environments, IaC tools beyond Pulumi (Terraform, AWS CDK), CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub Actions), and AI-enabled development tools.
