Position Summary
The Senior Scientist will be part of a team of imaging scientists engaged in novel preclinical imaging for drug development. Responsible for MRI strategy, study design and execution, plus data analysis, interpretation, and data presentation. Collaborates with biologists, chemists, clinicians, regulatory, statisticians, and other scientists across therapeutic areas; participates on discovery and/or development teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily operation of MRI scanners and quality of MRI studies in animals
- Implement and develop state-of-the-art MRI acquisition protocols/studies
- Establish complex image analysis and image processing pipelines
- Manage projects and studies in areas such as oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular
- Conduct experiments/research/studies using scientific and technical skills in assigned area
- Adapt standard methods and techniques using breadth of knowledge and experience
- Make decisions impacting work group/project team
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of new approaches/technologies
- Present key information in small multidisciplinary meetings
- Represent department/function on program/project teams or sub-teams

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree + 7+ years; Master’s + 5+ years; Ph.D. (Life Sciences) + 2+ years
- Extensive experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and imaging analysis
- Hands-on experience in animal imaging
- Thorough MRI knowledge; developed knowledge of related/multi-modality imaging
- Proficient in scientific/technical writing (e.g., regulatory documents, protocols)
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams; strong problem-solving, communication, flexibility
- Preferable: chemistry and biology knowledge for drug discovery imaging studies/analysis
- Python, Matlab; preferably Bruker Paravision programming experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Princeton, NJ, US: $123,670–$149,855; may be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash/stock
