Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on CHO cell line development, characterization studies, cell culture process development, or protein purification to advance novel biotherapeutics into human clinical studies.
- Implement and interpret preclinical data, including molecular markers and platforms such as flow cytometry, IHC, next-generation sequencing, microarrays, and others.
- Train colleagues in established methodology, troubleshoot assays, and develop novel techniques.
- Develop scientific presentations and reports for internal review meetings and external collaborators.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- MS in Cell & Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, or Chemical Engineering; 3 years of academic or industry laboratory research experience.
- Experience (3 years required), including:
- (i) cell line and/or cell culture development using cell/molecular biology, signaling, and tumor/immune cell interactions
- (ii) bioreactor processes, cell culture optimization, and molecular biology techniques
- (iii) lab automation
- (iv) sample prep and data analysis for next-generation sequencing
- (v) developing novel assays using cell culture and molecular biology knowledge
- (vi) leading scientists for cell culture process optimization
- (vii) training/mentoring junior scientists/students
- Alternatively: PhD in the listed fields; 1 year of academic or industry laboratory research experience with 1 year each of (i)-(vii).
