Operations
R&D Process Engineering responsibilities include designing and developing scalable processes to make drug substances and drug products (small molecules and antibody drug conjugates/ADCs) throughout pre-clinical and clinical development; synthetic route design, process definition, scale-up, and tech transfer; active engineering support for biologics manufacturing scale-up (toxins, lipid nanoparticles/LNPs, and cosmetic active ingredients/CAIs); developing engineering technologies and intellectual property; supporting pipeline supply chain development and CMC regulatory content. Chemical engineers support pipeline projects end-to-end: establish enabling scalable processes, optimize drug substance/drug product processes, lead manufacturing campaigns, transfer processes to manufacturing sites, develop control strategies, and prepare reports for regulatory filings.

Role Overview / Key requirements: Model ADC kinetics and mechanisms; drug linker and drug substance process design (including tech transfer and scale-up); develop flow chemistry reactor platforms for ADCs; handle highly potent compounds; lead novel reactor configuration development (photochemistry, electrochemistry, membrane reactors, etc.); use computational fluid dynamics for reactor design and tech transfer; prior reaction development and scale-up experience with ADC processes (reaction and purification).

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust manufacturing processes across development phases.
- Participate in/lead project teams for characterization of new small/large molecule assets; establish and execute research plans.
- Develop and demonstrate commercial-ready processes in lab and pilot plant.
- Set strategies, define responsibilities/timelines, lead in matrixed teams.
- Solve challenging chemistry/separations/isolations using reaction kinetics, transport phenomena, and modeling.
- Apply process analytical technologies and model-guided experimentation.
- Build data/knowledge-driven models for scale-up and tech transfer.
- Author/review technical documents and support regulatory filings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; publish and present.

Qualifications:
- BS/MS/PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering or related field; 12+ (BS), 10+ (MS), or 4+ (PhD) years relevant industrial experience.
- Strong chemical engineering background; scientific leadership; effective oral/written communication.

Benefits (explicitly stated): paid time off; medical/dental/vision insurance; 401(k) (eligible employees); eligible for long-term incentive programs.
