What Youโ€™ll Do
- Lead a diverse group of scientists for purification process development, characterization, validation, and technology transfer to cGMP manufacturing for hybrid/continuous processes.
- Serve as an internal technical resource for cGMP manufacturing and Process Design; act as SME for external clients/partners on purification processes (small scale models, process transfer, scale up), including authoring CMC regulatory sections.
- Lead platform/complex client early-stage (FIH) and late-stage Process Characterization (PC) projects and technology development projects.
- Serve as Project Team Lead on client projects involving multiple functional areas.
- Communicate scientific information, experimental plans, and data to internal/external stakeholders.
- Independently design, execute, and analyze statistically designed experiments (DOE).
- Author SOPs, reports, and slides summarizing and interpreting results.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff and interns.
- Drive process intensification/continuous manufacturing to reduce cost and footprint via improvements in productivity, product quality control, and data management.
- Support staff/capital planning and other assigned tasks.

Who You Are
- BS/MS in Engineering/Biochemistry/Biology or related with 8+ yearsโ€™ experience, or Ph.D. with 4+ yearsโ€™ experience.
- Expertise in purification technology/process development; experience transferring to cGMP plants; authoring CMC regulatory filing sections.
- Experience with commercial process development, characterization, and validation.
- DOE/statistical analysis expertise.
- Experience training/mentoring/supervising and leading teams for client/internal technology development.
- Plus: high throughput process development systems.
- Experience with JMP, R, or Python.
- Understanding of cell biology, fluid dynamics, protein chemistry; knowledge in upstream/analytical sciences.
- Experience in cGMP/clean room (non-GMP role; GMP knowledge helpful).
- Required: strong written/verbal communication; client/multi-site communication; proficiency with common software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
