Operations
Responsibilities
- Lead the analytical aspects of a project including control strategy development, specification justification, method development/validation, data generation, and contributions to regulatory submissions.
- Support development of peptide products (API, intermediates, starting materials, impurities, and impurity profiling).
- Support new product development with methods development/validations, technical transfer packages, and technical data for regulatory requirements.
- Independently perform laboratory research or method development with minimal supervision.
- Formulate conclusions and design follow-on experiments using multidisciplinary data.
- Initiate scientifically meaningful investigations that can be incorporated into R&D programs.
- Process, interpret, and visualize data to support project decisions.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional groups.
- Demonstrate scientific initiative and productivity in the lab; adhere to applicable corporate safety/handling standards and GxP compliance.

Qualifications
- BS/MS/Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with 10–12 (BS), 8–10 (MS), or 0–4 (Ph.D.) years peptide-related industry experience.
- Strong analytical chemistry background; ability to independently develop and troubleshoot analytical methods.
- Experience with peptide-relevant techniques including mass spectrometry, amino acid analysis, advanced separations, and higher-order structure studies.
- Familiarity with forced degradation, impurity tracking, and stability requirements.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented; strong written/oral communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Preferred
- Advanced degree in Analytical Chemistry.
- Understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of modern peptide manufacturing processes and organic structure/functional groups/chemistry.
- Familiarity with chemical biology fundamentals and related analytics (recombinant protein expression/purification, cell culture, immunoassays, gels).
