Primary Responsibilities
- Develop high-throughput technologies integrating robotics, analytical instrumentation, and software.
- Partner with researchers to turn experimental needs into scalable digital workflows.
- Collaborate across automation, data science, modeling, IT, and CMC to enable CMC activities across small molecule, biologics, and vaccines.
- Lead projects from concept through deployment; improve automation platforms for performance, usability, and reliability.
- Provide hands-on support, troubleshooting, and training for scientists.

Education Minimum Requirement
- Ph.D. in Chemical/Biochemical/Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (expected by Sep 2026).
- M.S. in related field + 2+ years industrial/pharmaceutical/relevant experience.
- B.S. in related field + 4+ years industrial/pharmaceutical/relevant experience.

Required Experience and Skills
- Drug product and/or drug substance development experience supporting biologics/vaccines.
- Hands-on high-throughput lab automation for formulation/bioprocess development.
- Hands-on biochemical/biophysical analytical technologies used in drug product development.
- Entrepreneurship mindset; excellent communication/creativity/interpersonal skills.
- Deliver complex solutions under compressed timelines; work cross-functionally.

Preferred Experience and Skills
- Develop/implement high-throughput lab automation for formulation/bioprocess.
- Design of experiments plus data science/data engineering tools.
- Track record identifying/deploying data-rich tools; cross-functional collaboration.
- Python and data engineering; automation development/build automation.

Benefits/Compensation
- Salary range: $117,000–$184,200. Annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable).
