Purpose:
- Conceive, design, and implement new technology solutions to solve significant scientific problems through integration, visualization, and analysis of large/complex data.
- Generate and lead new proposals.
- Investigate, develop, and optimize methods, algorithms, and technologies to extract novel insights from disparate data and accelerate the pipeline.
- Serve as a lead data scientist; evaluate scientific/technological advances and integrate into pipeline strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Design strategies to address scientific problems using large/complex data (integration, visualization, analysis).
- Apply high proficiency across storage, transfer, integration, visualization, modeling, and analysis; broad expertise in data warehousing, statistics, and machine learning.
- Use knowledge of pharmaceutical/healthcare business to deliver agile, impactful, cost-effective solutions.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Pursue leads aligned with group strategy.
- Continuously scan literature/public domain for new information/technologies and incorporate into projects/program.
- May mentor/supervise one or more team members; accountable for team performance.
- Author publications and presentations.
- Follow corporate standards including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, and data security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs with 6 yearsโ experience; Masterโs with 4 years; PhD with 2 years. Life sciences background or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Thorough theoretical and practical understanding of discipline.
- Proven implementation of creative technology solutions.
- Excellent written and oral English communication.
