What You Will Achieve
- Lead antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) process development projects for cancer targets from early-phase clinical through late-stage/commercial products.
- Use scientific judgment to adapt standard methods; forecast and plan resource requirements; develop novel processes and ideas.
- Serve as technical expert and contribute/mentor team members.

Role Responsibilities
- Independently design, execute, and interpret studies; design subsequent experiments based on data.
- Monitor results, identify problems, and develop solutions.
- Facilitate technology/assay transfers internally/externally.
- Contribute to department/project teams; represent the group on multidisciplinary teams.
- May present at national/international forums.
- Author/review technical reports, manufacturing documents, regulatory submissions, and publications.
- Identify process improvement/technology development opportunities and propose solutions.

Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s (9–11 yrs), Master’s (7–8 yrs), or PhD (0–3 yrs).
- Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
- Direct experience with antibodies, proteins, and/or bioconjugation.
- Analytical protein characterization (HPLC, IEF, CE-SDS).
- Willingness to work with highly potent cytotoxic molecules.
- Ability to perform complex data analysis.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Foundational understanding of organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, and process development.

Nice to Have
- Tangential flow filtration.
- JMP (or similar) for experimental design, visualization, and interpretation.
- GMP manufacturing; CMC familiarity.
- Technology transfer to manufacturing.
- Familiarity with chemical synthesis, protein modification/bioconjugation chemistry, and analytical technologies for process development.

Benefits
- Annual base salary: $93,600–$156,000; bonus target 12.5%; 401(k) with company matching and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision coverage.
