Role Summary:
Senior Scientist, Biomarker Operations Project Management responsible for planning and executing clinical-trial biomarkers across the pipeline, ensuring compliant, efficient biospecimen collection, assay execution, and data delivery (focus: Immunology and Oncology; may expand to other disease areas).

Primary Activities Include:
- Collaborate with biomarker scientists and study teams to plan clinical-trial biomarker set-up and logistics.
- Serve as operational partner to Biomarker Leads; implement strategies advancing biomarker programs.
- Co-author biomarker-related sections of clinical study protocols.
- Define/manage specimen collection, handling, shipping, storage, and processing requirements aligned to biomarker plan and protocol.
- Develop vendor statements of work and data-transfer specifications; coordinate sample/assay logistics, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with Data Management to transfer biomarker data into the clinical data repository.
- Design sample collection kits, laboratory manuals, and specimen logistics for third-party vendor shipments.
- Maintain partnerships with external vendors and internal teams; resolve conflicting stakeholder needs.
- Implement and continuously improve streamlined workflows to maximize efficiency and data quality.

Education:
- Bachelorโ€™s (5+ years) or Masterโ€™s/higher (3+ years) in a scientific/technological field with relevant experience.

Experience/Skills:
- Project management; drug discovery and/or clinical research.
- Strong written/verbal communication in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
- Excel in fast-paced, evolving conditions.
