Role Responsibilities:
- Independently design and execute laboratory experiments requiring complex data analysis.
- Maintain high standards for laboratory records, reports, patents, regulatory documents, and external communications.
- Use state-of-the-art technologies (high-throughput/data-rich experimentation, computational tools, predictive software) to accelerate process development.
- Communicate abstract concepts and solutions to technical teams and chemistry leadership.
- Develop safe, scalable routes and processes on tight timelines aligned with portfolio goals.
- Author and review manuscripts, technical documents, patents, production reports, and technology transfer reports.
- Promote a supportive, inclusive work environment.
- Follow safety training and laboratory research guidelines to comply with regulations.

Basic Qualifications:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry with 0+ years industrial experience, or BS with 9+ years, or MS with 7+ years.
- Sound understanding of modern synthetic organic chemistry and purification technologies.
- Proven innovation/impact (peer-reviewed publications, patents, or conference presentations).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Additional Job Details/Compensation:
- Location: On premise (Bothell, Washington).

- Base salary: $93,600–$156,000; bonus target 12.5% of base; eligible for long-term incentive program.
