Senior Scientist, Cell Production & Tissue Engineering

Role: Senior Scientist in Cell Production & Tissue Engineering focused on developing regenerative therapies for end-stage renal disease, specifically bioartificial kidneys. Responsibilities: lead development and scale-up of protocols for iPS-derived renal cell production and maturation, design functional assays, oversee cell manufacturing to ensure GMP compliance, collaborate on technology transfer, and contribute to publications and patents. Requirements: PhD in biomedical engineering, cell biology, or related; 8+ years of experience in stem cell differentiation, reprogramming, bioreactor scale-up, regenerative medicine, or tissue engineering; technical expertise in iPS cell reprogramming, differentiation, and bioreactor culture systems. Preferred: experience with endothelial and renal epithelial cell differentiation from iPSCs, automation platforms (e.g., CliniMACS, FACS), and GMP process transfer.
