Position Summary:
Seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Scientist (lab-based contract) to join Analytical Development. Develop novel cell-based bioassays (including potency assays) and conduct method transfer and qualification activities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage development and pre-qualification of multiple cell-based assays for RNA/LNP drug substance and drug product.
- Coordinate to transfer phase-appropriate methods to external testing labs for GMP release testing and stability programs.
- Act as SME to ensure potency assays are implemented at external QC labs, providing technical support and troubleshooting during transfer/qualification.
- Draft/review development reports, testing methods, SOPs; assist with CMC regulatory filings.
- Onboard new bioassays and improve existing assay performance with other SMEs.
- Collaborate and communicate data effectively with internal/external partners.

Qualifications:
- PhD or MS in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related.
- 2+ years working experience in CAR-T cell therapy and/or related area (required).
- Hands-on experience with multiple immortalized and primary cell lines (required); extensive immune cell characterization using flow cytometry and other functional assays (highly desired).
- Hands-on Flow Cytometry experience (required).
- Experience with ELISA, Western blot, qPCR (desired).
- Assay transfer and qualification from development lab to external testing labs (desired).
- Strong problem-solving; ability to work independently and in a team in a startup environment (preferred).
- Track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented assay development and regulatory documentation (desired).
