Role: Senior Scientific Director/Executive Medical Director providing strategic medical and scientific leadership for AbbVie's immunology, oncology, and neuroscience assets, notably Epcoritamab and Ibrutinib. Responsibilities: oversee core medical affairs activities, including stakeholder engagement, data generation, medical education, safety surveillance, and supporting product development strategies; lead cross-functional teams, contribute to clinical trial design (Phases II-III), and manage governance forums. Requirements: MD or equivalent with 5+ years (Senior) or 10+ years (Senior Scientific Director) of clinical or medical affairs experience; extensive knowledge in immunology or oncology, clinical trial methodology, regulatory compliance, and pharmacovigilance; proven leadership and team management skills; excellent communication. High-Value: focus on immunology, oncology, or neuroscience therapies; biologics or small molecules; late-stage development (Phases II-III), including market access and medical education; global stakeholder engagement; hybrid work setup with some travel. Collaboration: work closely with global medical, development, commercial, regulatory, and HEOR teams; lead external interactions with KOLs, payers, and providers. Location: preferred in Lake County, IL, or considered in NJ, MA, CA with hybrid Tues-Thurs schedule.
