Senior Robotics Engineer

Role: Senior Robotics Engineer providing technical leadership in robotics and automation for Moderna's research efforts. Responsibilities: design, integrate, and validate robotic systems, electronic controls, automation software, and orchestration platforms; translate scientific needs into system specifications; lead platform integration and manage technical risks; serve as a subject matter expert and partner with cross-functional research teams; mentor engineers and contribute to best practices. Requirements: B.S. or higher in engineering or related field with 2+ years experience in robotics, controls, or systems engineering; strong programming skills in Python, C#, or similar; proven ability to develop and validate robotic and automation solutions; site-based role with no remote work. Preferred: experience with liquid handling robotics, research automation, modular automation architecture, and scientific instrumentation; strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
