Senior Research Statistician (Statistical Innovation)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, introduce, develop, and educate novel statistical and/or machine learning/deep learning approaches.
- Investigate and evaluate complex innovative designs and analysis options using scientific computing, modeling, and simulations.
- Develop knowledge of advanced and emerging statistical methods (e.g., adaptive designs, Bayesian methods, synthetic control, predictive modeling).
- Create and implement new or improved approaches and breakthrough ideas in modeling and simulations.
- Apply statistical knowledge to solve real-world problems; evaluate alternative statistical and machine learning approaches.
- Develop, implement, and roll out statistical and deep learning tools/techniques (e.g., R, R-shiny, Python, Julia).
- Build and maintain external reputation through presentations, industry meetings, and peer-reviewed publications.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a highly related field.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling/methodology and strong understanding of drug development.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced statistical computing and simulation.
- Proven expertise in standard tools (e.g., SAS, R).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmaceutical development and applied statistics/statistical consulting.
- Expertise in specialized statistical software (e.g., FACTS, EAST).

- Ability to collaborate and consult with subject matter experts.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership.
