Operations
Responsibilities:
- Ensure optimal performance of production equipment through skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fabrication trades.
- Execute repairs on equipment, utilities, and systems; perform advanced electrical troubleshooting including PLC diagnostics and computerized equipment, plus mechanical maintenance and repairs.
- Identify required materials/parts/supplies; use hand and power tools to test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications; prepare recommended parts lists for manufacturing equipment.
- Follow safety protocols while performing preventative and breakdown maintenance; implement and maintain scheduled maintenance per manufacturer specifications; coordinate maintenance with production for on-time solutions.
- Train maintenance personnel; direct mechanics in the use of safety equipment and procedures.
- Maintain equipment manuals, warranties, and tool inventories; review work orders for proper documentation.
- Other jobs as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required).
- Experience: 5+ years troubleshooting equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment; 3+ years working on compression & encapsulation equipment.

Skills:
- Plan, organize, and direct maintenance/repair work of skilled and unskilled employees (Beginner).
- Coordinate programs, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records (Intermediate).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment accurately and quickly; build effective working relationships (Advanced).
- Communicate in English orally and in writing (Advanced).
- Demonstrate initiative and proactive approach (Advanced).
